For five evening sessions, this instructor-led course provides students with the
knowledge and skills needed to configure Active Directory Domain Services in a
distributed environment, implement Group Policies, perform backup and restore,
and monitor and troubleshoot Active Directory related issues.
For three evening sessions, this instructor-led course provides in-depth
knowledge on configuring and troubleshooting Identity and Access (IDA) solutions
with Windows Server 2008 Active Directory.
After completing courses 6425 and 6426, students are prepared to take exam
70-640 which focuses on configuring and managing Windows Server 2008 Active
Directory.
For five evening sessions, this instructor-led course provides students with the
knowledge and skills to configure and troubleshoot a Windows Sever 2008 network
infrastructure. Students will learn to implement and configure secure network
access and implement fault tolerant storage technologies. Students will gain an
understanding of the network technologies most commonly used with Windows Server
2008 and IP-enabled networks. Students will also learn how to secure servers and
maintain update compliance.
After completing courses 6421, students are prepared to take exam 70-642 which
focuses on configuring and managing network infrastructure in Windows Server
2008.
This instructor-led course meets for three evening sessions and is intended for
IT pros who are interested in the knowledge and skills necessary to plan a
Windows Server 2008 operating system infrastructure. This course is aimed at
server administrators and is not a how-to course; therefore, it has a
significant number of planning exercises with less focus on hands-on exercises
than some courses.
After completing courses 6430, students are prepared to take exam 70-646 which
focuses on planning for server deployment and management in Windows Server 2008.
Exam 70-646 is the final exam in the MCITP Server Administrator certification.
